Came around 5pm and parked in their free lot behind the restaurant. Since we came on a Tuesday, there was a deal for carne asada tacos for $1.49. At the register, we ordered some of those, ground beef hard shell tacos, fries, and their star of the show: fish tacos. The fish was fried perfectly! The ambiance is very chill, no frills. The food was great for relatively cheap prices. In total, we ordered 17 tacos, fries, a drink and all that came out to about $56

Ok, if you're looking for authentic Mexican tacos this is the spot in the palms area. Small mom and pop shop. Nice people. Shaded place to stop by for a quick bite. Also, there was a really long line when I arrived. Service was quick. Waited about 5-10 minutes in line. Once ordered, food was done in about 5 minutes or less.

Oh M Gee! The fish tacos here are DIVINE! I normally take pics but I Inhaled their grilled fish tacos. The sauces....uhhh the sauces danced so beautifully together. Its hard to find restaurants that aren't afraid to go hard with multiple flavors for fear of muddling them but they execute the flavors perfectly! I could only eat the fish. So I can't say anything else. The ambiance was very "hole in the wall" vibes. plastic chairs, rickety tables, but the food is great! The condiments are unlimited and self-serve. It looks mildly messy but it's not pristine but clean enough.

came here after seeing they were known for their fish tacos and shrimp ceviche. unfortunately i came on a sunday so all the tacos were full price but on tuesdays and wednesdays some are half off. they also have some tables so you can eat at there. // shrimp / fish ceviche tostada // definitely the most cost effective item. this tostada came with so much shrimp/fish and it only costs a bit more than a taco. i'd recommend if you like ceviche. // fish taco // good portion of veggies. fish was good though i wish there was more, but i enjoyed it // carne asada taco // this one was underwhelming. didn't taste like much or fresh. i'd opt for the seafood. // horchata/ aqua fresca // underwhelming -- drink was pretty watered down my brother got the shrimp burrito but said he preferred the tacos as the burrito was more plain and dry.

Lowkey Mexican shack with a $1.50 fish taco deal on Wednesdays. They also have $1.50 carne asada tacos on Tuesdays. Note that the check in deal on Yelp for a free drink is no longer active. Note that the Coke in the fountain drink dispenser was flat, so I would suggest opting for a bottle instead. There is a small parking lot behind or you can look for metered street parking. Credit cards are accepted. They have outdoor seating and takeout. There's a small salsa bar by the counter. Fish tacos were decent and overall, a nice spot to grab a deal if you're in the area.

This place will satisfy your cravings for seafood tacos! My personal favorite is the grilled shrimp taco but the fish taco is also solid. The only thing with takeout is that the fried fish can get a little soggy on the way home. The hard shell potato taco is very filling and adds a nice crunch to everything. The shop itself is small and not the nicest looking but it's part of the character and good for a quick meal. We love the peppers they have on the side and service has typically been very quick for dine in or takeout!

Very solid taco spot in Palms with insane Tuesday and Wednesday deals. 1.5 fish tacos on Wednesday? Yes Please. I ended up just getting a fish taco when I was there. The vegetables and salsa and creme were all very fresh, which to me is the most important part of a fish taco, so it was very solid. My only wish is that there was a bit more fish in the taco for the non-deal price of $3, but if you go on Wednesday this is a total non issue, and the tacos are tasty enough that this is pretty minor. The place has a dingy LA hole in the wall vibe which I liked, very friendly staff as well. Totally worth checking out if you are in the area or are wanting some good taco tues/weds deals.

This is your iconic hole in the wall looking Mexican food place with great food on Venice Blvd just a few miles east of Venice Beach. I was drawn in by the sign for Tuesday $1.49 tacos. I ordered 3 Carne asada which were so delish, I had 4 more with a nice side of rice and yummy peppers and radishes on the side which ended up costing me $17(including squirt)but worth it since my stomach must be obeyed. The food is fresh and Baja California(actually a peninsula in Mexico)authentic. I subtract a star since it is very cramped and not too comfortable. The tacos are also on the small side but overall worth it for the quality food. Recommended.
